This was written by Chris Andrews, who had several hits as a performer. It reached No 11 in Britain in 1963. It was Faith’s second record with the Roulettes, the first being The First Time (qv). He never got so high in the charts again.

I’ve got a Roulettes LP somewhere! Adam Faith’s records with the Roulettes were his best in my opinion. He was great in the film “Stardust”.
