This gives me the chance to air my long-held theory that His Bobness nicked the tune for Sara from the song Chim Chim Cher-ee, which featured in the Mary Poppins movie sung by Dick Van Dyke.

Ha! That’s one of my favourite Bob songs and from my favourite of his LPs. I had never noticed the similarity to Chim Chim Cher-ee. The melody is similar although much slowed down; you can hear it in the harmonica lines and particularly in the fabulous Scarlett Riviera’s violin.
