This was written by Buzz Cason and Mac Gayden and first released in July 1967 by Robert Knight, who took it to No 13 in America and No 40 in Britain.
Love Affair covered it in the UK and got to No 1 in January 1968. I never liked this version; it has a production line flavour to me.
