“All The Rage” by Ian McLagan is the best book about them, and one of the best pop music books full stop.
Paolo Hewitt, one of the contributors to the “My Generation” programme, wrote a book about them. It was good; very factual and informative but not as great a read as Mac’s book.
Andrew Oldham’s books are among the most boring I’ve read.
