Chad and Jeremy: Yesterday’s Gone

This was written by Chad Stuart, half of the duo with Jeremy Clyde. It is co-credited to Wendy Kidd but according to Wikipedia this was her reward for lending Stuart her piano while he composed the song. It was released in Britain on September 27, 1963 and reached No 37. It was released in America the following year to cash in on the ‘British Invasion’ and got to No 21 there.
