Gary Puckett & The Union Gap: Young Girl

This is one of many pop songs on the theme of the underage girl who must be rejected for her own good.  Gary Puckett & The Union Gap performed in costumes based on Union Army uniforms from the American Civil War. In 1968 they took Young Girl, written and produced by Jerry Fuller, to No 2 in the States and No 1 in Britain.
