One from the great Phillies stable. It was written by Phil Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry and recorded in April 1963 with lead vocals by Darlene Love and Bobby Sheen. It reached No 63 in the US.
Greenwich and Barry released a version of the song by their own group, The Raindrops, also in 1963, but it isn’t as good.
