Booker T and the MGs: Time is Tight

As the house band of Stax Records, Booker T and the MGs played on hundreds of recordings by artistes including Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Sam & Dave. Time is Tight was written by the members of the band for the soundtrack of the 1968 film Uptight and released as a single in 1969. It reached No 6 in the States and No 4 in the UK.
