  1. I saw Billy at one of Fairport’s reunion concerts. He sang a version of Rolf Harris’s “Two Little Boys” called “Two Little Boys In Blue”, about the police, and he sang it directly to the policemen working at the concert. He stole the show – if there had been a roof he would have brought it down. Easy money of course.

    1. I was lucky enough to work with Billy Connolly on a pilot show at London Weekend TV, must have been late 70s. The show never saw the light of day. Connolly was the most naturally funny person I have ever met. He was also kind and polite to me as a lowly researcher, and I have a signed shooting script.
