Medicine Head: Pictures in the Sky

The first hit for John Peel’s Dandelion label, this went to No 22 in the 1971 singles charts for the psychedelic twosome of John Fiddler and Peter Hope-Evans. Peel apparently signed them up at the insistence of John Lennon.

  1. John Fiddler was one of the best support acts I ever saw. He was a one-man band – drum on his back, mouth organ etc. Most unusual but excellent.
