Written by Teddy Randazzo and Bobby Weinstein, this was first recorded by Little Anthony and the Imperials in 1964.
It got to No 6 in the States but did not chart in the UK.
The Zombies released it in 1967, but there were disputes about the production and it was not promoted. It did not make the charts.
