Kenny Lynch: You Can Never Stop Me Loving You

Given US and British versions of the same song I tend to go for the former, but in this case I think the British one has the edge.

It was written by Ian Samwell and Jean Slater and released by Kenny Lynch in 1963, reaching No 10 in Britain.

Johnny Tillotson recorded it later the same year as the title track of an album. Released as a single it got to No 18 in America. A puzzle is that there are two versions on YouTube, one with double-tracked vocals, and different arrangements. I am guessing one is the album version and the other is the single but I cannot be certain.
