Denny Mitchell Soundsations: I’ve Been Crying

Square

In the 60s I lived in Beckenham, Kent, and this group were from neighbouring Bromley. When they released this in 1964 they had a signing session in the Beckenham record shop, Robertson’s, and I went along and bought a copy. I am pretty sure it did nothing, though it is no worse than many of the records of the time. I presume they were discouraged because it was the only record they released. It was written by Pierre Tubbs, whose other works you can see here. https://secondhandsongs.com/artist/38420

The B-side was another Tubbs creation, For Your Love, and to be honest it’s dreadful.
