This was written by the leading Motown team of Holland-Dozier-Holland. It was released in July 1963 and made No 8 in America, but entirely missed the British charts.

Hi Andy. I was lucky enough to have tickets to two RSG shows, though I fear I can’t remember who was on. When I see recordings I hide behind the sofa in case my 14 or 15 year old self appears.
